Placing Orders

Choosing your cake should be fun and stress free – allow enough time to plan your cake and place the order. Start by visiting our website – learn about cake combinations or simply browse the cake gallery for inspiration. Alternatively, and for a more personalized experience, visit our shop – we are always happy to offer advice and answer questions. We have an extensive collection of cake photos at the shop, but please feel free to bring your own pictures, invitations, color swatches, or anything else you think might help us design your cake.

Placing Orders
For standard party cakes we recommend placing your order at least one week in advance. If you plan to order a standard party cake, call or visit our shop – we are open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 6pm and Sunday from 7am to 4pm.

For custom-design, shaped and tiered cakes we recommend placing your order at least two weeks in advance. Most orders can be placed over the phone, but depending on the complexity of the cake we recommend an in-person consultation with one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives (CSR).

Whenever possible we will be happy to accommodate orders on short notice, but we can’t guarantee it.

For last minute needs you may choose from our extensive line of stock cakes available for pickup at your convenience.

Email, Phone or In-Person
You must call or visit our shop to place an order. We will be happy to start a conversation via email, but please keep in mind we don’t answer emails real-time.

Deposit
Cake orders are not final until we receive a 25% deposit. The deposit is non-refundable if the cake is cancelled within 48 hours of pickup or delivery time. You may place the deposit over the phone with a credit card, or in person with cash, check or credit card.

Delivery
We deliver in Westchester only and for an extra fee based on the distance from the bakery. Delivery is available Tuesday through Saturday, from 8am to 2pm, and a 4-hour delivery window is required. The cake plus the delivery fee must be paid in full prior to the delivery date.

We are committed to delivering our product in perfect condition to your destination of choice, but we still recommend that you or your proxy (i.e. restaurant, country club, catering hall, etc.) examine the product upon delivery. A signature is not required, and acceptance of delivery constitutes acknowledgement from you and your proxy that our product was delivered in perfect condition. Once delivery is accepted, you and your proxy are fully responsible for the product – including any product damage resulting from storing, transporting, or serving the product. We will not accept product-damage claims once delivery is accepted.
